2026 Season at Whittemore Swimming Pool

The City of Whittemore is now accepting applications for the 2026 Summer Season! We are looking for mature, dedicated, and hard-working individuals to join our team and provide a safe, fun environment for our community.

Available Positions

Pool Manager or Co-Manager Team

Responsibilities: Staff scheduling and supervision, public relations, and daily operations management.

Duration: Approximately 14 weeks (Last week of May through mid-August).

Requirements: Must be capable of managing staff and dealing with the public daily.

Pay: Very competitive wage based on experience.

Lifeguards

Responsibilities: Ensuring patron safety and maintaining a watchful eye on pool activities.

Duration: June through mid-August.

Starting Wage: $12.00/hour.

Bonus Perk: 100% reimbursement of successfully completed Lifeguard Training class fees once staffed at the Whittemore Pool!

General Requirements & Schedule

Candidates must be responsible, hardworking, and dedicated.

Weekend work is required for both positions.

Work is required during a portion of the Fourth of July holiday (Note: Pool is closed the evening of July 4th).

Positions are open until filled.
