The Annual Kid's Fishing Derby is sponsored by Whittemore Outdoor Club and other benefactors - FREE to all youth participants! 12:00 - 3:00 pm at Kossuth-owned Siems Park southeast of Whittemore. Kids under 10 yrs of age require adult supervision. In Iowa, a valid fishing license is required for anyone 16 yrs of age or older participating in this event. Bring a pole... nightcrawlers are furnished! Register at 12:00 Noon and fish until approximately 2:45 pm. While results are being tabulated, everyone can enjoy a free lunch as provided by the committee!
