Due to the snow that is already on the ground and the weather forecast for the next several days, the City of Whittemore is declaring a SNOW EMERGENCY to be in effect from 5:00 p.m. Monday, December 30 thru 5:00 p.m. Thursday, January 2.
This means no person in Whittemore shall park or leave unattended any vehicle on any public street, alley or city-owned off street parking area during a snow occurrence or during snow removal efforts.
Residents are being asked to immediately remove or make arrangements to move any vehicles parked on a city street in Whittemore effective Monday afternoon at 5:00 p.m. thru 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 2.
