Members of Seely-Walsh Post #425 of the American Legion families present the following schedule for Memorial Day 2016:
Parade departs from the Legion Hall at 9:45 a.m. and proceeds to the Community Center for program.
Program begins indoors at the Community Center at approximately 10:00 a.m. At the conclusion of the program, everyone in attendance is invited outdoors for the "Laying of the Wreath" and a gun salute to the deceased veterans of the Post.
Unique to Whittemore is a fly-over by an antique "Bamboo Bomber" aircraft, owned by Elmer Steier, veteran and rural resident of our community.
